Storybook Book Jacket Series
I have always loved reading, and as such, I have been interested in creating book jacket and book cover designs since I began my career in graphic design.
Having always had an appreciation for children's fairytales, I decided to create a series of book jackets for three of my favorites: Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, The Jungle Book, and Peter Pan the Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up.
My Favorite thing about books is that with every turn of them in your hands, you experience a new plane of the book. I wanted to utilize this quality to give the reader a new surprise on every plane of the design. I wrapped the setting of the story around the entire book, including a sprinkling of characters on each panel.
